Online user guides
All FABE library user guides for key resources have now been made electronic- the guides can be found by searching ‘guide to’ in the online reading list system -
New departmental structure
The library has now become part of a new department called Libraries and Curriculum Support. This department also includes Archives, records management, the Technology Enhanced Learning Team and Student Affairs who support employability, learning advice, digital and literacy skills and disability support. The acronym will be LCS.
Bookable sessions
Please make your students aware of the drop-in and bookable sessions available to them through the library. Places can be booked via Engage and the library training pages http://www.westminster.ac.uk/skills-support.
Library champions
We have an exciting opportunity for students who would like to have a say library matters by:
sharing their ideas on library services and initiatives
working directly with library staff to buy extra resources for their course

Lynda.com
Lynda.com has been made available to staff and students for this academic year 2016-17. Lynda Offers comprehensive and up-to-date courses on software applications, Lynda.com also includes a wide range of courses and importantly it offers CAD training.
These training modules can be linked to online reading lists/
Lynda.com is listed in Library Search and further integrations with Blackboard and the Learning and Development area of MyStaff Portal are planned.
